nah lol. decided to stay away from jap sh*t boxes. my mechanic said although that bmw's and europeans cost a alittle more to fix they do last alot longer and they a a better and more solid machine. and tbh i like the look of bmw's better.

Oh yeah. The 316i i stripped out the sounds and put all factory lights back on and left the rims on a sold it for 7000 cash to a guy in wellington. i had it compresson tested and tk tested before i sold it. The problem which it had was the top hose had a tear and another lil hose was leaking so i went to bm workshop and bought new hoses spent afew hours and installed them backflushed the cooling system and put new fluids in and she drove amazingly. kind off miss the car due to it being my first car but im excited for the 2003 320 to come my way!.

Hi. i took glens advice and i left the 1999 e46 328 at turners alone. But now im getting a 2003 320i facelift. which has just been imported and has less than a 100,000 kms on the clock. I know i semi answerd my own question but im after a 4 door kit and for the facelift version which looks like this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-313184435.htm but its a 2003 model and has full leather interior. My mate who imports them can get motorsport kits and etc but im after something like this http://www.e46fanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=396149 or the CSL Kit. Does anybody know where to get them from. "and if you want a e46 2003 facelift for around 10-11k which has just been imported with around 100,000kms on the clock just pm me and i will get in contact with him and see if i can work you a deal.

-

Dont think its that bad.

dont really care if its auto. my dad knows a little bit about cars and what to buy and what not to buy. Its guna get checked and if i can afford a manual conversion and if its not to much ill do it.. because im not fussed about how much i put in a car coz im 18 and dont have a morage and all that jazz i just have my car so if i wana do something ill save up and get it done. "personalise my car to how i want it to be"
-
why so negative... the auction only next tuesday :S
-
not really fussed with launching a bmw i saw a video of one trying to and he f**ked his cv joint i believe. but if i get a 328 with 98000kms on the clock itll be worth manual converting unlike a m43 316i with 165,000kms. Thanks tho.

Okay man ill see what i can do aye. Need to get some moneys first

fair enough. Just wanted to clear that up

what i dont understand is most people on this forum have H&R springs or some sort of lowering springs in their car.... But they all mok the people who want to lower theirs.. :S so confusing...
-
thanks bro i found a mean one that i wld wana work towards. The only thing is to actuali get the car.
-
agreed bro agreed!
-
agreed bro but owell things will pass.
-
Thanks for the advice. might have to upgrade to some 19" if i find that problem. 20" rims are abit to big and i dont wana drive a bmw that could be in a Rapper's music video.

yeah i realised a bmw with 98000 kms which is a newer car will be a better choice in the long run. Because yes i will be able to afford it due to my shifts at work becomeing more and i have no living costs as i live at home. I also have a mechanic who used to work on bmw's and if i get the parts he installs them with minimum labour fees, Not Hundreds and thousands of dollers. so i think its not a bad decision. Might in the later years after my course buy a e30 or e36 to turn into a track hack just coz they have an amazing stance when done properly.
