Nope belt looked good...sound more like a fluid or vacuum whistle

Hi I have a 2005 530msport and the power steer has a whistle...very annoying. Happens mainly when warm , goiing straight and putting load on..squeeks !! I have changed the p/steer tensioner pulley because the belt was riding up abit and slight bearing noise. Also changed fluid (used the correct fluid from BMW). Probably just leaves the pump or rack and pinion steering...expensive ! Any ideas ? Thanks Roger

I have tried for days to get 2 x 255x35x18 runflats for my wifes 2007 323...there are none in New Zealand ..new or second hand that I could find. I have no room for spacesaver so my wifes car will be off the road for about 2 months while awaiting new stock...then..I will be asked to pay the $700 each...Dont buy a BMW with runflats..

Hi new at this...Is there any way to tie the engine number of a e46 320 to the chassis number? I know you can to the chassis to the en number through BMW . Long story but appears original engine changed in the last 3 months without my knowledge....any ideas?
