aw f@*k it my one is a prefacelift....How difficult is it to do those little changes,I think im just gonna get another car like a nissan for this. it looks like its only gonna get more complicated and fiddly. but thanks for all the advice cuzzies

okay then i shall thrash its pants off till it dies then transplant when its goners .I might just do a m20b25 straight swap for my first engine tranplant to keep it easy might rb it if i manage to get enough experiance with engine swap

i wont be drifting all the time just every now and then in a paddock or on the tracks.How easy would it be to put the m20b25 in it ......I think ill use it with the getrag 240 if it bolts straight in ??

hi guys just wanted to ask you guys about me car.its a 320i manual running getrag 240 and the thing is i got the car after it had a transplant.so unsure about kilometres on either of them Im planning on using the car for a daily driver and drifting.The only thing is that im scared the motor might blow up on me or something.Ive only done little things like clutch replacement rust repair and simple stuff but i cant do a rebuild let alone have the tools for it.You guys think i should rebuild both gearbox and motor before drifting it?? if so does anyone here wana do it for me just pm me with your price please.....

Hi guys im saved up enough money i think lol and im ready to do my first engine swap. i just wanted some advice much as i like to fantasize bout putting a v8 in it i want something to give it more power but i dont want to sacrifice handling or the overall balance a 4 door e30 320i with getrag 240 etc.whats the best one in your guys opinion ? i tried to look for engines that are similar in weight.but far out i cant be f(*&ed now .i dont want to put a 2.5 in it cause i should just buy one with a 325 id like the engine to be bmw.and im not puting a japanese p.o.s in it lol my budget is 6 grand

Hi Guys My name is Kava.Bought my first bmw for 1000 bucks,My first project car and knowing nothing about them should make for a interesting ride. 320i e30 4 door in green lol ,im keeping it green btw hehe The batterys stuffed,getting a replacement and will be stripping it down and first fixing up little rust spots.

Okay cool ill get it. One quick question ,Im new to this project car thing and to be honest .This e30 will be my first ever one, heaps of people tell me that theyre sh*t expensive.I learn quick,How do you guys know so much about your cars and like diagnose stuff and how to replace and clean up everything? Are there any books lol?? Ill be posting pics of my new purchase.1984 320i 4 door e30 ,It looks pretty hoarty but runs(apart from the battery) What should i do first ?? Im guessing rust and dents? then interior? I want to bring the dead looking thing back to life ,But i dont want attention from cops so no tinting and stuff like that but might lower it and fit some sexy deep dishes. Would really like a few pointers and help with my car If any off you guys live near hillsborough auckland.Hit me up ,Im really keen to watch and learn,especially the use of tools?

i tried a battery out of my uncles car and it starts fine now.Shot for the advice cuzzies.One Thing though,After i put the old battery back it worked fine??? A bit strange to be honest??? I also have a lose exhaust gasket .What tools will i need for it?? Does anyone know where i can get tool boxes for bmw cheap.
