  1. Probably a long shot however does anyone have an E36 wagon hiding away that they have been considering moving along?
Relegating the M3 back to garage queen hopefully.

Budget up to $8k however willing to consider something that needs a bit of work. 328i would be ideal however beggars can’t be choosers!

    What’s your budget??

Truth be told if you want hassle free fitment and installation buy a genuine one - they are quite reasonably priced.

Everything else out there have fitment issues one way or another. Some more than others and some more liveable than others.

Hey Tom, was hoping for under $1500 including painting.. Which seemed reasonable for the replicas.. Will contact BMW for a quote on the original, might be worth it if I save on fitment issues.

Any recommendations on the better replicas?

  3. No excess as I wasn't at fault. It's about what I think the car was worth, being a manual, and with the vaders and coilovers. Was certed too. Using it as a chance to upgrade!

Nick, any chance you're looking to sell soon

  4. Justin pretty much nailed it. Photo didn't really show full extent but I don't have any others. In addition to bumper, bootlid and lights, both rear quarter panels were pushed outwards, muffler took a bit of a hit too etc. For a car that had an agreed value of $7000, not worth the repair in their opinion I guess.

Wouldn't call the pay out good or bad. Nor is it gonna pay for the M3 but figured it's as good a reason as any to upgrade.

  5. So this happened a couple weeks ago. Stopped at a pedestrian crossing but the guy behind me didn't...

Five years of chipping away went down the drain. Got confirmation today it's a write off.

    Sh*t happens I guess.
