I have a M10 that came out of my 87 318i. Big ends are rooted, however the previous owner had the head rebuilt (I have a receipt for this), and it is moderately complete in terms of auxiliaries (no alt, starter or dizzy). I have no idea what it's worth (I only paid $400 for the replacement so presumably not much), so best offer before the end of the weekend can have it. I am thinking the bidding should be units of beer, or minutes with your mother or underage sister (pictures to be supplied to determine value of bid). Pickup in Papatoetoe

Hi guys, I bought myself a 1987 318i last week, and very shortly afterwards the engine decided to run the big ends. I'm looking for a replacement motor - preferably one that will last a little longer than 30km, to drop in there. If you have something that could be of use, let me know. There's a suitable motor on trademe for $500 but I'm hoping to find something cheaper (I'd rather be spending my money on the other car). Preferably in Auckland, but I'm not against going for a bit of a drive to collect Cheers
