yuh not hard to find. i know where there's a handful scattered around a few wreckers. wreckers think they're hens teeth though and charge a wee bit, but alas, not too much in alot of cases, seems standard gerbox pricing really.
-
^^ know your pain man.
f**kin mongrels, would have no quams in smashing their knees with a 4x2
-
whilst trying to find the thread i made on this which contained the pics, i happened across this page. alot more info there no doubt.

have a go, can only f**k it up i guess and if you've got a spare AFM.... what do you really have to lose
edit: nopt specific for bmws obviously, but bosch afms are all generic
also, note at the bottom of the page
Changing the Spring Tension of an AFM
Dont do it! Never change the tension of the spring on your AFM. You will destroy the calibration of your AFM. The AFM is laser trimmed to a fine tolerance by BOSCH.

clean the tracks and adjust the contact points on the flap to sweep on a 'new' area of the tracks. did this with my rancid bosch crap on the pug, made a world of difference. have some pics from another dude in the u.k that suggested this to me. afms are salvageable 90% of the time

cool man, thanks alot

^^ emo song ftfw.
songs about breaking up give me erections.....

holla,
due to my recent purchase (250cc crotchy) gotta clear out the shed etc, 5 registered vehicles = stupid. so yuh.
2003 suzuki ts50 xkr,
registered as a moped = no wof required, car licence, $70 PER YEAR rego (cheap as f**k)
has only done about 5269km , fuly mint bar a couple of small scratches, and a ding in the tank (un noticeable really) where it fell on a honda in the last people to own it's shed. chortle etc
everythigns sweet on it. does around 350km from memory to a tank before it hits reserve, costs like $10 to fill it from there.
I run it on castrol TTS 2stroke, and it over oils a little, which doesnt harm it, actually probably good for engine life etc.
kick start only, although you can easily start it by hand, it's that easy.
economic as f**k, higher than a scooter for more visibility, tuf as nails
will post a pic tomorrow, would be a m3an daily for some c**t, uni etc.
not a gay looking scooter. buy it
$1100ono, cheap!!!!!!

driers are fun
-
mods done by himself/his mech perhaps? The e32 750iL that used this motor had 300 bhp and the Alpina B12 had 350. So Id be questioning what makes him think he has 350+
Unless its the bloke who bought the unregisterable B12 last year and he ripped the motor out
-
f**k, hot.
good to see this todger representing with the jagermeister, as it should be....straight
-
compared with the usual 350+ ci chev engines or similar, then yuh, prolly is economic.
goods fun, i've been wanting a j/boat for ages, will happen one day.......
good to see something a little different out there! i want it!

bravo - looks like a good solid car. the 1980s ones are quite sorted.
they were back on dry suspension by this time, some were hydrolastic thru the late 60s and 70s. this i;m guessing still has the clasic cnetre binnacle or does it have the clubman style dash?
nonetheless great cars, I've had a handful of them and would own yet another in a second. good luck with the sale
