1999 Home built Car Trailer - built like a brick sh!t house. Single axle mounted on leaves - could fit blocks to lower deck height possibly if you were desperate. I've had WRC edition Celica on it and never had a problem though. Escort or Hillman hubs, can't remember - with disc brakes. Previous owner reckons he had calipers recoed - I've never put them on cause tow vehicle had plenty of brakes, but calipers included. Painted up blue. Brand new braked towing hitch. Just fit brakes and new lines and sweet. Might need new discs too. Trailer has removable ramps and sides, narva tail lights, brand new 2 speed hand winch, 2 sets of wheels. Open deck so can access bottom of cars whilst on the trailer. Currently reged, not WOFed, can't see why it wont get one though - I've just never bothered (like every other trailer owner on the planet) Reason for selling - don't need it now. Was handy when I had the race car, but thats long gone. Price - Offers - AIWI - cheap compared to what I have seen on Tm. Edit - Extra info: No idea what it's tare is, but I've had 3tonne on it before (for a short period). Probably not designed for a huge barge to be towed long distance on it, but its had a Mondeo on it from Welly no sweat. Deck size is (IIRC) 187cm wide, and 450cm long, could be wider if you cut down the sides. Probably weighs around 500-600kg at a guess? Has a new braked towing hitch on it, the old trojan one had issues so I had it replace. Has brake lines, but needs hooked up the hitch and hooked up to the calipers. Can arrange for WOF to sorted for a sale (deposit or full amount required first). New project means this and Simcas have to go, so open to reasonable offers. Pic here, older pic - just aftwer it was freshly painted with crap paint - some paint has since washed away so doesn't look as good as in the pic. No car included http://img99.imageshack.us/img99/8237/dsc00026si8.jpg

Cheers for that, have asked questions. Fingers crossed.

Howdy all. Looking for parts for my gfs 318iS that was subject to a hit and run attack on Saturday. Unfortunately only had 3rd party fire and theft. So onus on us to repair. Hard when she's a full time uni student Looking for the following - want calypso red panels to avoid repainting panels which costs a bomb. Front Drivers Guard Bonnet Right Front Indicator Right Front Headlight (not a necessity as may be able to repair damaged one - unknown as yet) Grille (don't need kidney inserts) Radiator Slam Panel (support panel) Not holding my breath too well, car still will need panelbeating just to get it to be straight enough to fit new panels (nothing structural, just inner wheel well), but hopefully can return it back to it's shining glory.

As per http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....showtopic=14514 Car still missing. I ran some injector cleaner through it and now it sometimes runs on four if I tap the end of the number one injector. I think its injector. I wanna take them out and have them cleaned and flow checked. Who should I send them to to have them cleaned etc? And how do I get them out of the car? Cheers.

If it comes to that then I will. But as you've proven, my region of a grand aint so bad Cheers. I hope someone will find some love to spare for it. I just have too many cars currently. Gotta downsize a bit. Theres another 6 classic cars apart form this one hehehe

Its works for and against me though. It could put off potential buyers if they're hoping to get it for less, or they could find its cheap as. And if someone makes an offer they might offer more than I wanted. So it's a meh type reply lol

Cartridge type. Not a screw on canister I believe.

Mutter. Somewhere in the region of a grand. Its less than what its insured for and less than what the Ford 8 & 10 club valued it at.

My gfs E36 318iS has a big sticker on the trans sump saying it has lifetime fluid...........

Don't really wanna sell it but I have too many cars and I gotta make room. It's a green 1952 Ford Prefect, model E493A. Has the headlights in the guards as apposed to the E93A which had them ontop. Ex 6 volt, all the lights have been replaced with 12v globes, rear lights have been added with indicators/tail/brake. Generator and regulator are 12 volt, still positive earth for originality. Runs like a clock, starts easily, clutch is good, gearbox and diff are sound. Hasnt had the rust done in the A pillars as mentioned in the project thread (just never got round to it), but has had rustkill put on it everywhere (on the body), and the roof rust I have started on. Comes with a spare radiator & fuel tank, plus a bonnet and whatever else is in the boot lol. Surface rust in the roof has been started by me. Body looks a bit tidier than in the pics cause it was washed and cut and polish (could be done better, I didnt try cause the idea was to repaint). To my knowledge (who knows what else the VTNZ find), all it needs to get it on the road is the rust in the bottom of the pillars (have been quoted $300 from my panelbeater to have this done, so I guess its not too bad/difficult), weld or replace the back left guard as its split (this is an easy repair - plus my panelbeater included welding this up in his price) and maybe the wipers to work a bit better. They do work, but old age and the fact that they are vacuum means they dont work as well as they might, but a cleaning up and lubricating of the motor should fix that dandy. Other than that I'm pretty sure its sound. As I said before, all the lights/flasher etc have been done, I've gone over the brake linkages (these don't use a hydraulic system - its all mechanically linked), converted it to 12volt, changed the oil, new fan belt as well. Bakelite trims around the windows are removed currently to be polished but havent started them yet. Original canvas top has had a steel roof put in (very common modification). Exhaust has been replaced at some point in its life and now exits just before the left rear wheel. It is dereg and has no plates. Tis an original car though, original knobs and locks and chrome etc and very complete. It's a solid little car and with a bit of TLC it would be awesome little car. Perfect for reminiscing of the old days It'll do 60mph at a stretch, although I wouldnt recommend it for long periods. Happily blats along at 50mph (80kph). Basically - it's a screwdriver & spanner type car thats easy to work on and get parts for. Theres an Auckland Club for these as well. Has been totally reliable too, I've actually driven it several times (back roads and late at night usually) and clocked up a number of miles. Oil was changed recently as well. Open to offers, I know what it's insured for in it's current state and what the market is currently so I have a rough idea of price. I've seen one of these with a Cortina V6 in it, went like stink, and painted with flames it looked quite good. Have pics of exterior if anyone wants inspiration Project thread (with some pics) - http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=6577

Well, I tried running some injector cleaner through it (when i had a spare moment - damn new job) and it came right for a bit and then the miss came back. Will a scan tell me if its an injector has a fault/blocked? Or do I jsut needa buy/borrow a spare and try swapping them out? Thanks
