Hey just thought i would let you guys know

Today after my grandads funeral... My 2nd cousin was there and he said he would take me for a ride in his new car...................... i knew it was a BMW so im like sweet... thinking it was slow etc

So we go out just cruzing.... and then hes like watch this.... he puts it in M mode.... slows down to nothing... launches it..... rev limiting at 8000rpm.... then changes.... has the mean kick

And yer keeps going and gets the speed cut.... but omg it was so quick... fastest car ive ever been in

Apparently he is the 1st one in NZ to own this car...

But yer 0-62mph in 4.7seconds

is quick for a car of this size...

its the same as that one that was featured on top gear

Seriously its huge but so decisvely quick when put in M mode

apparently the reason the diff sensor doesnt go is cuz the diff is a 318i auto diff with manual internals and it needs to be modified to make it work

yer so i find it hard to believe that when putting in the diff that they neglected 2 wires.. you say its a two wire jobby..... so they didnt plug it in because.. :|

but im thinking they plugged it in but the fuse is stuffed

because the backlight for the speedo on the dash doesnt go...

maybe the two are related ?

Apparently Gear Tech did everything on the diff

Apparently they said the last owner let the battery lapse and it spilled on the firewall and made it go all rusty... but they got that fixed.

Last nite i noticed the carpet was damp around the center console.

Im not sure about the diff he just said its a 318i diff with maunal 320i internals

How difficult or how expensive is it to connect the speedo sensor/cable to the diff of a 1987 E30 320i Manaul

ummm..... just find some sparco or monza reclianble bucket seats from repco... ?

I find that most leather seats i slide around in too much.. leather/seude is a good combo or just cotton
