I have recently had the alternator and battery replaced. Both the WOF and REG expire at the end of this month so I will sell with a 6mth WOF, 3mth REG and a new set of tyres. The vehicle is currently under an AA warranty until April 2009 but this is non-transferable (a bit of a shame). I am selling because as much as I love this car… I miss driving a manual. May trade for a 1994+ Integra SiR or Type R.

  3. I drive a 1994 325i Automatic and average 7.92km per litre. I put $50 in her each week and get about 250km out of it. I drive 36km each day in traffic but slip it into sports mode and give it some sh*t where possible so 7.92k/litre isn't too bad I guess. By comparison, my 2.0L Toyota Celica manual averaged 10km per litre.

  4. I'm positive that all three are working. I read somwhere on the net that the error message usually appears when one of your bulbs is still working but on its way out... giving you time to replace it.

I'll just wait and see what happens. If the bulb blows, I'll get a new one and if it doesn't blow but the error continues I'll try find a new brake light switch.

  5. Hey... just wondering if anyone can help me. I was driving on the mortorway this morning and "check control" started flashing on the display. I looked down at the computer on the centre console and it read "Brake Light Circuit - Check Owner's Manual". I have done a search on google and it apparently means I have to change the brake light switch mounted on a bracket behind the brake pedal. Do any of you know where I can pick one up and the reason for the error message in the first place?

  6. Thanks Andy.

I agree about the angel eye headlights... that's the next thing in store for it. I've only had it four days so haven't done anything yet apart from fitting a 5 star Mongoose alarm with automatic start and a Dynatron GSM pager. The rear lights are standard looking but the top lens is white/clear instead of orange. It's also got an AC Schnitzer rear bumper.
