Hello,

I'm new to New Zealand and am hoping to find a sympathetic mechanic to look after my 3.0csi in Christchurch. Whilst I'm asking, a recommendation for a good body / resto shop would also be appreciated - these cars rust mercilessly.

Hi, GAC is good, he builds a lot of race cars, but there are always nice bmws there, and he does a good job.

Auto restorations?? my paint was done there and is pretty dam good.

Excellent, thanks for the helpful replies. She needs a little rust fixed up and down the track I'd liek to do a 3.5 litre / 5 speed conversion for a little more performance and legs.
