Wairarapa or Wellington mechanic wanted

I blew a heater hose recently, luckily just outside a garage - so no overheating yeah! - and had them replace it. I want to get a good BM mechanic to take a look at it as it now seems to lose water and I have seen the temp gauge spike up to red then quickly drop back again.

Area is South Wairarapa or Wellington City.

Model 1998 540.

Any recommendations?

Was it the hose at the top of the radiator ? Those are very common on the m62's :-( It was a real stroke of luck you got that early !

The hose was one down the back of the engine. A fitted hose so ordered from Jeff Gray and had couriered out.
