QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 I have no idea what the name for this thing is, its the "emission friendly" gadget part way through my exhaust, im sure you all have/had one, now all my cars have never had one, ever lol, thinking of removing it as it restricts flow from the exhaust, any opinions on this matter?? and yes, I HAVE done a search on this, and I could not find anything, So, any ideas??? it rattles a bit as well, makes a bit of noise, which is added incentive to remove it. Cheers.

cainchapman 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2007 You have a cat in your E30? I didn't know they were invented back then. If it's not working then you may as well remove it. Or you can see Retro products and get a high flow Remus replacement. It also doesn't remove CO2, it converts unburnt hydrocarbons and CO into CO2, and removes Nitrous fumes.
