cainchapman 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2007 Here is a link to a description on diffs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_slip_differential The ratio is the gearing from input to output. 2.95:1 will mean fewer revolutions for a given speed than a 3.76:1 the higher ratio will give quicker acceleration, but a lower top speed, and vice versa.
