Grant 4 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 I am going to upgrade my suspension, and will buy new shocks (and possibly springs) while I am in the USA later this year. The dilemma is...which should I go for? I have narrowed it to either the Koni Sports or the Bilstein Sports. I am aware that the Koni's are probably slightly better, but in cost terms they are about $240.00 more than the Bilsteins. What do you guys think? As far as springs go, I am leaning heavily towards H&R, but am also considering the Jamex 40mm ones. Cheers
Guest Spargo Report post Posted April 29, 2004 either go for H&R springs and Bilsteins, or Eibachs and Koni's. Price wise, for your application (old bugger in a car to get to the shops and back home ) i'd go for H&R / Billies.
E30-323ti 66 Report post Posted April 29, 2004 I have Koni's, get my thumbs up. I will prolly be going with a coil over setup using eibach springs as part of my stage 2 mods.
Guest Andrew Report post Posted April 29, 2004 Grant, i am going to probably get bilstein sports (and I have those Jamex springs) you can come up to my place and go for a lonely track trash. I should have them in the next 2 weeks.
