SpidersWeb 0 Report post Posted May 19, 2007 Ok, so I am know the semi-proud owner of a 1990 BMW 535i SE wth 5 speed Getrag 265, tan leather, LSD, and all the usuals in dark blue, yey me. Now it had a slight vibration between 80-120KPH, so I took it in for a wheel balance, which ended before it began. Apparently my drivers side front rim (17" Enkei LM01, most likely a cheap replica) is buckled. Any recommendations on where to take this? or should I just give up? I can't really afford a new set of mags, and I dont have the originals either. Just after some thoughts, ideas, suggestions etc Thanks again, Jono
Yuen 16 Report post Posted May 19, 2007 Hey Jono, I would just look around on TradeMe for some secondhand standard wheels, they come up quite often and you can probably get a set for less than $100. Just the other day a set off an E34 (that's what yours is, correct?) went for around $70. You're likely to pay much less buying a set of standard wheels, than repairing one wheel.
