pureboiracer 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2007 hey. i got a 1987 325i motor at home minus flywheel and ecu. the loom has 2 rows of pins in it. so i think i need a motronic v1.1 but i am not certain. and can i use the flywheel from my pfl 320i? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

will 169 Report post Posted June 1, 2007 If you have a prefl 320, it is likely to have had a dizzy on the side of the block. If so, you will not be able to use the prefl flywheel as it will not have a tdc lug on it. However, if you can locate a fl flywheel with one on, you can relatively easily copy it across to the prefl one, but its position is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL... DO NOT GET IT WRONG!!!!
