vnz 0 Report post Posted June 3, 2007 im think the castor is need for control arm, I've brought my car to BMWorkshop and they ask me to change it, brand new will cost roughly $600 (includes labor), im looking for a second hand one, and can ask my friend change it with a lower labor price
vnz 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2007 Genuine lower control arm bushes are about $170 each so that makes $340 for parts. Fitting is a bit tricky but only 1 hour to do on a hoist sounds like you are being overcharged. If you have 17 inch wheels or larger fit the offset M3 bushed to get more caster -It reduces the tram lining (Tyres following grooves or changes in raod surface). so how much that would be for part and labor? r u doing this? thanks for the reply
