duggybuggy 0 Report post Posted June 4, 2007 i have my eye on a 535 m30 engine but im not sure of how much work it is to bolt it up. do i eed a different trans? i have a sad m20 525 at the moment and i fear it may drop a valve soon....as its already on its way to m20 heaven. i love the style of the 525 but hate the lack of power. and i dont want electric seats etc and all that extra weight... sooo how hard is it? ( somebody correct me here if Im wrong ) engine mounts Exhaust parts to suit new motor LVVTA cert a whole parts car would probably work out well I am by no means knowledgeable about such swaps in a BMW but what Ive listed above has been the case for other engine swaps i have known of Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
