arros 0 Report post Posted June 20, 2007 Just purchased a white E34 with 17" Schnitzer replicas and tints Only had one other white car before and said never again would I get one but here I am buying another one.I don't like white cars but the tints make the car look not bad- one good thing about white is that it does make tints more prominant! Am thinking of pinstriping the motorsport colours (light blue, dark blue (purple?) and red) along the sides and front skirt. This is a throwback to the 3.0 CSL touring racing cars of the 1970's (like Ash's link photo in the $100K loan thread below) Was also thinking of a wide strip down the centre of the car (middle of bonnet and roof and right to the back) like a Mustang/Ford (as this is a v8 bmw) but gone off that idea. Any suggestions. Has anyone done this with off the shelf pinstripe tape or vinyl tape say from a sign writing place? What are the results and cost?
