E30 2 door, front left banging pls help

Hi there,

Now and again I can hear a slight banging in the left front tyre. The person I bought it off said the mechanic said it was not a bad thing, nut it id starting to worry me. I am thinking it might be ball joint ot something like that as happens alot and not just when you go over bumps.

Any help please.

Gidday Mate, could be a number of things, first things I would check are the ball joints and and control arm bushes, also would check the strut top mount for any play.
