hotwire 352 Report post Posted July 1, 2007 Had mine off for repair when I first got the car, cant remember exactly how I did it now but I also had the seat out at the same time so probably did that before removing panel itself. Knobs need pulling off for a start though. I dont remember it being an issue to remove the part. If there are no obvious securing points with seat in situ then probably requires removing first. sgluyas 0 Report post Posted July 1, 2007 Hi, From memory, there are three plastic clips (one at the front, one in the middle and one at the rear) that you need to unclip and it will then come off (obviously still attached by the wires for the electric seats though). You will need to reach under the seat to undo the middle clip. When I replaced my broken middle clip, I had to push quite hard on the whole assembly and reach under with my other arm to get it to clip into place.
