I have a 2.7 liter m20 engine. stock standard, Not the alpina and Not home made jobby. Fully stock.

Also a 240 manual getrag box..

And also a 242 Manual getrag box..

Taking offers only.. for lot or for just a part.

(may cosider swaps for manual box with sensor mount casting, 260 getrag)

Do you know how many KMs the 2.7 has done. Whats' it's history. Can you give some idea of price so I can make a realistic offer. Where are you based.

The 2.7 came as a spare engine for my race car when i got it, so im unsure of kms or history. i know that its out of an 1984 bmw and has not been modified at all.

would be good to use for alpina conversion... 525tdi crank + 325i head + inlet manifold + 325 managment with chip good for over 200hp..

As it is will only produce 110hp as it has undersized exhaust ports and inlet ( to make it more economic )

has been kept out of weather wile being stored also .

Is it 2.7 stroker (m20b25 head with m20b27 bottom end) ? or is it just m20b27 engine (low reeving one from stock 525e)?

if it is a stroker, what pistons does it use ? what compression, etc ? are any detail available ?

any history available for it ? k's traveled, etc ? from auto or manual tranny car ?

as above its only 110hp . its aparently a 325e engine e30. so just a strangled 2.7 liter for econnomy but can be modified to pull over 200hp fairly easily...
