Grant 4 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 Hello Does anyone have an E30 Motronic ECU lying around that I could borrow? I just want try swapping one in my car (that currently has a 320i ECU in it) and see if it makes any difference (I have read that it shouldn't make any difference), but I am interested to find out. Grant 4 Report post Posted May 18, 2004 or failing that, borrow the chip from an E30 325i Motronic ECU (should someone have replaced their standard chip with an aftermarket one). I am aware that the 320i and 325i ECU's are exactly the same with the exception of the chip (but I am reasonably confident that the chip has been changed already in my existing 320i ECU).
