cainchapman 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2007 OK, the Yoko A048R's have served me well, but are now toast. Where do you suggest to go for good quality 235/45/17's? Thanks, Cain
cainchapman 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2007 They only have them in 94Y in that size according to the web-site. Whatever 94Y might mean also. Load rating off memory. I wonder if I should put a staggered set-up in.
zenetti 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2007 Hi Cain currently have in stock Dunlop SP3000. Dunlop Sport Maxx, and Goodyear Eagle F1's. 3pedals is right, the sport maxx is definitely the pick of the tyres, but they are all very similar in terms of performance, it really comes down to personal preference. Each have their own merits and downsides. Let me know if you would like me to quote them for you Cheers Johno
cainchapman 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2007 Thanks to both of you. Johno, I'd love to talk to you. Get me your contact details and I'll call and arrange to stop by.
cainchapman 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2007 Well, new Sport Maxx fitted. Quiet. Well a 747 is quiet compared to the A048R's, so maybe I'm wrong. Never seen the traction going so much as on the drive home in a long time. I'm sure once the gain their grip, I won't see it as much.
