lidistick 70 Report post Posted August 28, 2007 (edited) NO not that bush! Got a set of M-sport sway bars (26mm F/ 18mm R) for the car. We tried Nolathane(red ones) bushes but the fitment is not right and the metal clip is of a different design. I can go OEM BMW but would like stiffer bushes. Any ideas? OEM BMW is a 10day wait while they fly it out of Germany. Would like to attack the road to Kawhia this weekend Cheers. lidistick 70 Report post Posted August 28, 2007 Will the bushes fit the OEM clip? We had a lot of issues fitting the nolathane bushes to the OEM clip. If it fits, yep, I'll have them I think the fronts are about $60 and the rears are abotu $40. $80 for both? Cheers.
lidistick 70 Report post Posted September 29, 2007 Finally got the sway bars done. Had to swap the front bar as it was for a compact and it didn't fit so managed to get a 27mm front sway bar. Bushes were sourced from P&H suspension city in Hamilton. Probably the biggest handling mod I've ever done to the car. Better than the springs and shocks and wheel/tires. Less lean in front and I can get on the throttle earlier. I recommend doing the sways first before upgrading the springs/shock if you are not running Motorsport sways for an E36. Definitely best bang for buck. Sways were $200incl from Mosen and bushes were $93. Labour was about $130 or so and worth every penny.
