Cale 36 Report post Posted September 14, 2007 Can anyone tell me how to do this on a M40? And then how you refill without airlocks etc.?
jpp 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2007 Drain at the plug on bottom of radiator, flush with water if not done in awhile, then refill, forget the ratio, distilled water + coolant, then run car with heater on full and push air out by squeezing pipes and refilling with coolant/water, then bleed with the screw til coolant starts to come out at the top by the thermostat. my_e36 43 Report post Posted September 15, 2007 Have the heater turn to hot right from the start so you'll drain the stuff in the heater core as well.
