My Rental Car For the Last Two Days

Hi All

I have just spent the weekend on Waiheke Island, taking a restful break.

The weather gods were smiling (against the weather forecasters predictions) or hired the following car.

It was actually very good fun on the loop road to Stony Batter, Man of War Bay, and back to Onetangi.

The mix on RWD car, some gravel roads, some dirt roads, and some twisty tarseal roads was good fun.

Another one....I took it back today to the rental people, and the sides of it were fully covered in mud. I pity the poor groomer.

j/k the gravel to stoney batter is awesome. I once spun a 325i with no lsd on it, before it was sealed nearly all the way from Pie melon bay.

was it a sport model? 140HP, bilsteins, 6spd box? drove my cousins one in switzerland.....good fun handle damn good....so tiny!

I can safely say it didn't have 140HP, but did handle very well, and stayed very flat through fast cornering. It was very good at high revs, but the roads mean you can't go very fast so it was ideal for the roads.

It was very slippery over the gravel road portion of the loop. However this was good fun.

haha they are hairdresser cars as you said, but ive heard they handle really well and all that, but i personally wouldnt have one.... far too tall for that sh*t!
