Built in amp in headuint help

Recommended Posts

A mate of mine has given me a kenwood MP3 headunit that has no sound coming out of any of the 4 speaker channels.

Is there anyway of diagnosing/fixing what's wrong with it or is it not worth it?

I'm guessing that the built in amp is blowen?Have checked fuse and it's fine.

Sound comes out when I run the heady off my amp and sounds perfectly fine.

Any help?

Cheers

Ashkan

You're probably be better off just buying a cheap 2nd hand 4ch amp. Can't imagine the reapir bill coming in under say $80 and you could pick up an amp for less if you hunt around.
