QuickSilver 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2007 (edited) So, I feel the time has come that I post an update thread, i've wanted to do this for ages but I said I wouldnt do it until i'd done the manual swap, so having that done, I can happily write this thread I am gonna put up all the work done, be it big or small, I picked up my e30 late march this year, and since then its under gone some changes. - Lowerd on King springs - New battery - New bonnet + respray - New bootlid + respray - Rear end respray - Rust cut out of rear quarter panel + painted - Rust cut out just behind rear window + painted - Broke and repaired front skirt - New throttle body - Full Beige leather interior (looks great against the silver) - Resprayed all the black trim black again - All red tails - Manual conversion and all associated parts - New alarm remote! - New rear speakers, - New Headunit - New idle control valve - Bimmersport stickerd of course! Thats about the note-able changes for now, quite a few in just over 7 months in my opinion, car looks great and runs like a dream, and I still have lots of plans, although im slowing the pace down a bit now lol. What are peoples thoughts?? Im quite pleased with myself haha Ill take a new pic tomorrow, but the one in my sig is pretty up to date, it just doesent have the interior, manual or stickers in it, ill take a few new ones tomorrow and post up, Cheers!!! Kpax 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2007 Wow, all that done within a year, neat bro, took me bout 2 years to just get my rust sorted on the rear end. I'm loving the seats bro....if you come across any leather for a 2 door please holla back man. Yo when you say you resprayed the black trim, you are talking about the cosole & stuff? did you just use the vinyl/fabric spray or did you lightly sand the spray & then sand? Reason I'm asking is cos i'm gonna clean up my console & of course I don't want to mess it up.
