EDIRTY 1 Report post Posted November 2, 2007 Does anyone know much about these Doulble Sheared Secletor Rods? (see pic) I have recently installed a B&M short shift kit in my e30 and i can confirm that the throw has been significantly reduced (maybe 35%) the shift feels alot nicer although it is a bit stiffer into gear. the only downside is i still have the side to side play in my shifter once in gear.... i started doing some research and have found an american webiste that sells alot of aftermarket BMW parts (big brake kits etc) and noticed along with short shift kits such as B&M they also offer an upgrade on the selector rod claiming that this is the cause for the side to side play in the shifter http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee48/85e30/UUC_SRGJ2.gif http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee48/85e30/uuc_300.gif is anyone familar with this product or a similar upgrade??
