Precut tints package

Has anyone got any advice about putting precut tints on their car?

I have a set for the E34 and the part in pigeon english in the instructions I DO understand says something like:

"necessary have one person and one other people for install this car tint window package ...." or similar

I was going to have a crack on my own - wise?

I've DIY'd before, wouldn't recommend it unless you have someone with you who has done it, and does it well. Best to just pay someone TBH. Plenty of guys around that do it for a living.

I've had quotes from Tint-a-car $500, or solo mobile guys do it for $300, or if you supplied tint, probably $200. I'd re-sell the tint as they won't be as good as what the other guys would use.

I DIY'ed with mine with non pre-cut stuff, it turned out pretty good, took a while though. I took the back window out to tint that and I took the inside door panels off so i could get the tint far enough down the window.
