The guy that was helping me out, doing the rust repairs has moved overseas, and I need to finish it myself! He was using his own Tig welder, but that has gone with him! I am looking at buying a Mig to complete the car, as I think a MIG is easier for DIY welding for someone like me with basic experience only. What specs should I look for? How low can I go in price before I get a really shittty machine that is a pain to use? Should I go Gasless or Gas? if I go gas, what is the story re bottles / regulators etc. ( Argonsheild or Co2 ?? ) Thanks guys, sorry for all the questions, but would like to get some feedback from those who have used machines, not just salesmen trying to make a sale!
