What Stereo Deck came in the e30? (Stock)

Yeah i belive that can be put into a E30 Im pretty sure ive seen it done, quite easy I'd imagine as it is only a pretty basic headunit. Ive been trying to get hold of one like this... Pioneer KE83 zbm with CD changer or perhaps a E36 factory head unit. The Pioneer I belive came stock in E30's '89 - '92

It looks like the earlier unit out of an E34. Unsure if it will work for your E30

You should be able to fit most 'single din' head unit's into an e30.

I think the e30 would have had several different stereos fitted.My 1990 535 has a sony head unit as std,and there was a 318 I think we were discuccing the other day which seemed to have exactly the same unit as mine.As long as you can trace the wiring i beleive there is no reason why you couldnt fit any single din unit in.If you are fitting another bmw unit in you may even be able to buy an adapter from the dealer!
