ED1RTY 2 Report post Posted January 8, 2008 If you are only running resonators of course its going to be loud as f**k. My advice to you would be to get one of the resonators cut out and replace it with a muffler.

hotwire 352 Report post Posted January 8, 2008 As said already - with two straight through resonators it will be noisy, you need a muffler at the rear. You can put on a free flowing type where you will still get noise but subtle & not over the top
Yuen 16 Report post Posted January 8, 2008 So you have two resonators + the exhaust now? Is this one of those exhausts from TradeMe? Would the exhaust not be a muffler too? If it's still too loud for you I say remove it - especially if it's causing droning at low RPMs, that is really annoying. Just my 2 cents.

kiwi535 538 Report post Posted January 8, 2008 Midas will be able to offer you some advise. They can source replacement "Std" exhausts so can compare what you have got to a std one....I suggest you need a complete rear muffler,or a slightly smaller one if you want a bit of "tone"
