bradc 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2008 Cool, so they are definitely 8" and 9.5" What offset are they? They should be 13 front and 25 rear

bradc 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 You still haven't confirmed the offset and width for me, I really want these wheels
steve R 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2008 auction says :Staggered fitment - 18x9.5 rear, 18x8 fronts
joshnz 2 Report post Posted January 29, 2008 Sorry, yeah the sizing is as above. I wouldn't have a clue what the offset is, is there anyway to tell by looking somewhere on the rims themselves?
will 169 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 Those don't look like staggered offset rims to me, are you sure???? The width/offset should be stamped on each rim. Will
joshnz 2 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 I know what I'm selling, the picture aren't taken on the right angle to even see the widths of the rims. I'll just go and have a look for at the offsets..
joshnz 2 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 Offset on the rims is ET20. They are made in Italy too
Mike 1 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 you sure they're staggered? I haven't seen wheels with that much difference in rim width keep the same offset.
joshnz 2 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 FFS, yes they are, if you don't believe me, ask Martyn, he used to own them.
bradc 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 The reason I'm asking is that Penry said he thought they were 18x9.0" rather than 18x9.5" and I just wanted to confirm that
martyyn 2 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 Josh, Ive told you twice what they are, if you want to say otherwise thats your business. Im keeping out of it.
zenetti 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 you sure they're staggered? I haven't seen wheels with that much difference in rim width keep the same offset. we have quite a few staggered sets of wheels in stock where the 'dish' does not change that much. joshnz 2 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 Well, I guess I stand corrected, they must be 9inch on the rear? I don't have access to measure them until late tomorrow becuase they are now in storage.
will 169 Report post Posted January 30, 2008 we have quite a few staggered sets of wheels in stock where the 'dish' does not change that much. If the 'dish' is not obvious on staggered rims, the offset will be quite different front to rear. These rims did not have any obvious stagger from the front, that is why I asked about the offset as they are advertised as having 1.5" difference in width front to rear, which IS significant and could have a major impact as to what vehicle they could be used on. (I have an e28) Somewhere on the rims will be stamped the width eg 9.5J and the offset eg ET20, that will tell all...... not too much to ask??
