Brennan 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2008 yea i just did exactly that with a 89 325i gearbox into a 90 318i. Youve gotta change over the bellhousing and probably the plate in between the bellhousing and the gearbox that has the fittings to be able to screw in the pipes to the radiator as they were different in mine. Double check and triple check everything is the same even the shiftdown cable length as you really dont want it bolted in and realise something doesnt fit.
