antony 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 So my cars been overheating a bit lately. But I never drive in traffic, so it has not been that noticeable. But tonight I was in the Macca's drive thru for aaagggeeessss. And when I finally got thru they asked me to pull up in the park and wait. Anywho, the temp gauge if off the clock by now, and it's smoking. I pop the hood to find coolant boiling and coming out of the cap of the overflow. So what's wrong? I think there might be a block in the system, or buggered pump. Am going to chch tomorrow morning, so really need to sort this out. Thanks Antony. jpp 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 If you're waiting in the queue, turn your motor off... common sence really. Could be several reasons, unless you have replaced one or more before. - Thermostat + O Ring - Waterpump - Viscus Fan - Improper Bleeding of the System - Radiator I'd replace the first 2 - 3 ensuring bleed correctly.
