Strut Brace

Hey guys im looking at getting a front strut brace for my e36. Is it even going to make much of a difference?? anyone know what i will actually achieve when i install it?

It would change your handling a bit as the front part of the car is now stiffer. You can also consider a X-brace for the bottom (standard on convertibles) or stiffer anti-roll bars as an alternative.

Based on what I've read, thicker sway bars and x-brace will give you a bigger improvement in handling than a strut brace. So you might want to leave the strut brace till last.

I put one on my E30 and what I notices was that the handling/chassis felt tighter and more controlled on rough corners - especially down hill. Im talking about out on the highway here. The car also has M-Tech springs and Biltsein Sport shocks and everything seems to work in well together. As the e36 chassis has greater torsional rigidity than the E30, you may not notice the differences that I did.
