my_e36 43 Report post Posted March 13, 2008 It would change your handling a bit as the front part of the car is now stiffer. You can also consider a X-brace for the bottom (standard on convertibles) or stiffer anti-roll bars as an alternative.
Yuen 16 Report post Posted March 14, 2008 Based on what I've read, thicker sway bars and x-brace will give you a bigger improvement in handling than a strut brace. So you might want to leave the strut brace till last.

ducatiss 1 Report post Posted March 14, 2008 I put one on my E30 and what I notices was that the handling/chassis felt tighter and more controlled on rough corners - especially down hill. Im talking about out on the highway here. The car also has M-Tech springs and Biltsein Sport shocks and everything seems to work in well together. As the e36 chassis has greater torsional rigidity than the E30, you may not notice the differences that I did.
