Had two cars: - Merc CLK-55AMG - E60 BMW 525i Had the radar detector in both cars and BOTH cars came up with ABS failures & turned the ESP and the DSP off on the cars. Both times it came up with the fault, the radar detector restarted itself. Once I removed the radar detector because we thought there was something up with it, from the BMW it never happened again... Does anyone know if the radar detector would do such a thing to a car? i.e voltage spikes e.t.c to make one of the ECU's fail?
