silly 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Need recommendations for a scource for a 272 deg cam for the 2.7 engine I'm building. So far have Franklin cams to talk to. Can you purchase an aftermarket 272 deg cam or do i have to get one made from a billet? Thanks
antony 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Got mine from Ant Woodjets from e30zone.net He builds e30's in the UK, and was great to deal with. [email protected] Was ~$800 for a 272/272 cam, a chip to run the 2.7, and insured delivery.

Thats a pretty good price for all that

silly 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 No, don't think they're needed. Thanks very much to all who replied about the cam source. I take it then that wisdom says there isnt any good NZ cams available? FYI I also have found a 274 deg piper fast road cam for 311 pound plus plus at www.europerformance.co.uk. plus lotsa other stuff but they only deliver local. Sounds like Ireland or Shrick are the go silly
