Either that or it the hand brake light, and your handbrake wire has come loose from the handbrake. The oil warning light shows an oil can from memory. Just checked the oil and its 3/4 full (!) logo is the brakes i think? check the sensor on the brake pads, It will come on when the pads are low. Cale 36 Report post Posted May 10, 2008 other way around. From E30 Owners Manual: Brake Hydraulics: Goes out after engine has started.
