shadowninja 0 Report post Posted July 16, 2004 M-model for BMW range 13 July 2004 Powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine and capable of completing the 0-100kmh dash in less than seven seconds, a hot version of the imminent 1-series BMW is expected in 2005. The model will wear 125i Sport badges and will form the 1-series performance thrust until the arrival of a 30-litre, six-cylinder 225kW coupe version of the car the following year, which will be given the honoured BMW "M" or Motorsport badge. It won't be called the M1 however, as, being a coupe, the car is effectively a 2-series, to fit in with BMW's new numbering system. The New Zealand 1-series model range will start with the 118i, an SE version of same, a 120i petrol and a range-topping 120d.
