Hey this weekend im probably buy and install my new engine, I will be using a B27 bottom end with a B23 head and intake, now i need some ideas of mods i have 3000 to spend and the engine+head is costing roughly 1600-1800 and also what ecu should i use im thinking Motronic 1.1 or 1.3. So what mods can i do im already thinking of extractors + Exhaust i already have a pod filter so what else can i do?

if you have a bit of extra $$$.. i'd go for an aftermarket ECU. Then you can get rid of the AFM which will free up 20 - 30 hp .. you can then tune it way better. I'm not sure if motronic will have a base tune for the eta bottom end and b23 head. It also leaves open the turbo option....

Link, Microtech... etc. (motec hah)

Give us a bit more info on the car your putting it into.. year.. model.

microtech then..

you can't do motronic 1.3 btw unless you change to a motronic gearbox

and isn't motronic 1.3 distributorless?

if i were you i'd stick to using L-Jet or even better upgrade to Microtech ecu
