lidistick 70 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 I've picked up M3 front control arm bushes from Yuen. Aside from getting a full alignment done, which I will once I get new tires, are there any special things I need to do once installed? Should I get new control arms? Any other suspension bits I should replace? Car has done 100K kms. Springs, shocks, RSMs, sways, sway bushes are all new/newish. Cheers.
Mike 1 Report post Posted June 7, 2008 How old are the ball joints in the control arms? You could do the arms (or replace just the ball joints) as preventive maintenance but unless there is play in the ball joints I wouldn't bother.

kiwi535 538 Report post Posted June 9, 2008 murphys law says as soon as you replace the bushes only you will need a new arm cos the ball joint(s) will go.Thats what happened to me.
