leadtrombone 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2008 Hey Guys. Been reading some of the posts here and i think this is a pretty good forum. I've been a BMW fan for years and years. I have owned two. A 1989 320i two door sedan. and a 1988 320i Touring. I love the E30 series the best. - but i must admit i am kinda an eighties junky in that respect. Lots of new cars are awe inspiring in performance and some looks. But the classics are well.. classics.. I have attached pics of my Bimmers. I don't know what happend to the sedan after i sold it (3 yrs ago) and i have only had the touring for a coupla months. Just had to have the head gasket replaced. Kinda got screwed by the used car dealer on that but i only paid 300 euros for the labor.. and the dealer paid forhte parts - new ater pump timing belt head gasket etc. I hope the shop did a good job. Oh yea i had an '89 520i for about a year but it was a lttle beat up and when i went for inspection i wouldn't pass. So i parted it and got the touring..
