Nobimmer 694 Report post Posted June 23, 2008 Are the inserts in E39 front shocks hollow?I found that my mates E38 ones were and hence couldn't machine them down. I know that the rears are sweet and I've done them before but The fronts seem to be hollow,only reason I think this is because when you push the centre "rod" up you can see an inner "spring" mech?
