skyline_400r 0 Report post Posted July 4, 2008 Hi i jst bought replacement lens for my headlamps and they are all sweet now for the sidemarkers, i washed them with normal car wash detergent and rubbing with force, then applied some turtle wax on them they now look a bit better, but 1 side still has some yellowing on it any ideas? Are there any markings on the back of the lamp? If so, post what they are. I'm looking for something like >ABS< or >PMMA< etc. It does look to be a little yellowed but not too bad. Did the other one come out OK? If the material is >PMMA< (acrylic) you might get away with some more polishing (use paste not liquid) but as acrylic doesn't normally yellow like that, I think they are probably >PC< (polycarbonate) which isn't so easy (the yellowing could be full thickness). Where did you get new lenses? And how did you manage to change them out? Did you try to polish them out first? Just curious... Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
