It's my second BMW, the 1st was an `87 e30 318i, which proved to be such a reliable wee beast, even with almost 300k on the clock, that I decided I'd buy another. Before that I'd only ever owned fords, the last being a 2.8L xr4i Sierra which had been set up with cosworth suspension, it was fantastic to drive but proved to be an unreliable money pit.
