Help: Park light won't turn off O.o

Recommended Posts

Hey does anyone know why my park light won't turn off?? It's really bugging me lol i made sure the handbrake was down all the way and all that

I've just taken my carpet out to dry (Got a bit of a water leak), could i have pulled out a wire or something in the process??

Any advice guys??

Cheers

Sam

so you have only one park light(or only one side)???Make sure you havent got the indicator turned on....you may have the "park light on one side feature",activated by having the indicator stalk pushed hard to the right(rhs only) or hard to the left(lhs only).car and other lights turned off

When you took out the carpet you bumped/bent the little sensor behind your hand brake (It consists of a little metal hinge that flattens onto a wire in turn grounding turning of the light) Easy fix, just fiddle with it until its right.

Yeah, I totally broke my clip so I took the bulb out of the dash.

And no I haven't left the handbrake on YET!
